Résumé

The contemporary Algerian novel is imbued with heroes who live in the shadow of a crisis reality with many conflicts, such as tyranny, oppression, ignorance, injustice and oppression. The hero of this stage seemed close to the daily reality and ordinary life, different from the superhero or idealised hero known in the old stories. The hero in the contemporary novel in general and the Algerian novel in particular is a character burdened by the internal and external conflicts that reality imposes on all actors and actors in the literary effect, and Yasmina Khadra's Kabul Sunnwat is one of the novels rich in heroes who face a reality besieged by all kinds of contradictions and daily conflicts that torment the psyche of the individual and thwart his dreams.
