الخطاب الديداسكالي في النص المسرحي الجزائري نماذج من المسرح الجزائري الموجه للطفل
Résumé
The didaskalic discourse is part of theatrical discourse and includes the stage directions given by the author to readers, directors, and actors to help them visualize the performance. This discourse is usually outside the dialogue but can also appear within it as embedded didaskalia. This concept has become widespread in modern and contemporary theater, and many playwrights and theorists consider it as important, if not more so, than dialogue itself.
Unlike dialogue, which can sometimes be omitted, didaskalia are deemed indispensable. Algerian playwrights have utilized this aspect of the text as a distinguishing feature of dramatic writing, and their use of it varies depending on their perspective on its importance in theatrical writing. In this article, we tracked some didaskalia found in plays directed at children in Algeria, focusing on the works of Youssef Baalouj and Kenza Mebarki.
