شعريَّة التَّنازُع بين الأَنَا والآخَر في مدائِح المتنبِّي

Résumé

This study reveals that the self plays a greater role than the other in shaping the poetics of contention in Al-Mutanabbi’s panegyrics. The poet expresses a creative, rebellious, and restless poetic self that defies conventional norms, replacing traditional structures, familiar imagery, and conventional meanings with innovative alternatives. As a result, his rhetorical and stylistic choices in some of his eulogies are unprecedented.

The research concludes that Al-Mutanabbi harnesses all his artistic potential to craft a unique poetic discourse in his panegyrics, rooted in the aesthetics of contention between the ego and the other. This poetic dynamic emerges from the depths of his techniques, imagery, and rhythm. The study opens new avenues for exploring this poetic contention in Al-Mutanabbi’s work and in other Arabic poetic genres, such as satire, elegy, pride poetry, description, and wisdom.
