Résumé

This study explores the syntactic and discursive structure of the interrogative Hamza in the Holy Qur’an, through an analytical reading of selected passages from the "Lexical Chapter" in Mughni al-Labīb by Ibn Hisham al-Ansari. The research problem lies in the limited engagement of modern studies with the intersection between syntactic structure and exegetical meaning. The study adopts both analytical and critical methodologies to highlight Ibn Hisham’s role not merely as a transmitter, but as an active interpreter who at times corrected prominent exegetes such as al-Zamakhshari. Key findings reveal Ibn Hisham’s exceptional ability to connect grammatical form with interpretive depth, and that his treatment of the interrogative Hamza unveils nuanced theological, grammatical, and exegetical dimensions that significantly enrich the fields of Arabic grammar and Qur’anic interpretation.
