Résumé

The objective of the article in researching the issues of receiving Western critical theories in Arab criticism is determined from the perspective of reading adopted by the Algerian researcher Wahid Ben Bouaziz in his book "Misery of Theory: Questions in Cultural Studies", by standing on the conceptual field in which he works, in which he evokes literary and non-literary texts to the field of colonial theory, postcolonialism and decolonization, to go beyond the critical study of aesthetics data limits to the questioning of implicit cultural patterns, which places his research efforts within the framework of Interdisciplinary studies.
