Résumé

This study aims to re-read the vision of the Algerian thinker Malek Bennabi of the discourse of Orientalism from the perspective of post-modern criticism, which is civilizational criticism. This is in line with the nature of the intellectual vision of Malek Bennabi, who presented In his writings, there is a balanced view of the Orientalist discourse in his treatment of the texts of the Arab Islamic civilization and its major narratives, as he did not tend to completely challenge and question everything that the Orientalists in general produced,He demonstrated the ability to use Occidentalism as a means of understanding the other and his intellectual and reference starting points and deconstructing them civilizationally and culturally to know the nature of his thinking .
