تجليّات المنهج الوظيفي التداولي في قراءة التراث اللّغوي العربي بين القدماء والمحدثين
Résumé
Modern Arab researchers have recognized the preciousness of the Arabic linguistic heritage, especially after the emergence of Western linguistics, structural and functional, and began working either to prove the existence of these concepts in their heritage, or to introduce Western linguistics and its findings, or to attempt to re-read the heritage using the methodologies of Western approaches.
Manifestations of pragmatics have emerged in Arabic linguistic studies within the applications of Arabic language sciences and its branches. These manifestations have resonated greatly in the approaches of modern grammarians to this heritage, appreciating the efforts of many scholars such as Sibawayh, Al-Jurjani, Ibn Jinni, and others, who preceded Western linguistic propositions by considering context. This has motivated the foundation of a modern Arabic linguistic theory that derives its pragmatic concepts from Arabic heritage and Western linguistic thought. The torchbearers of this movement include Mahdi Al-Makhzoumi, Tammam Hassan, Ahmed Al-Mutawakkil, and others, in hopes of preparing an authentic and modern Arab linguistic project.
