Résumé

The contemporary theater directors find themselves surrounded by an arsenal of modern and advanced tools and technologies. They are compelled to enter the world of modern technology and feel independent of traditional theater to keep up with the technological revolution on one hand and respond to the requirements of theatrical innovation. The audience nowadays seeks this innovation, as traditional dialogues and a scenography space lacking sensory and visual attraction and fascination no longer satisfy them. Algerian theater has not been isolated from the impacts of the modern technological and digital revolution, as it attempts to adopt global experiences by utilizing modern and advanced tools and technologies. This study aims to explore the stages of technological implementation in theater art, examine the reality of modern technology in Algerian theater, and highlight the main challenges and difficulties it faces.
