Alger au « beur noir » : une lecture géocritique du Passeport d’Azouz Begag

Through the prism of geocriticism, we will analyse in this article the representation of Algiers in Azouz Begag’s Le Passeport by focusing on the relation of the ‘beur’ author to the space of reference, the preponderance of the visual dimension in the text, the spatial heterogeneity, as well as the proper names assigned to the novel’s places and characters.
