Résumé

This research attempts to shed light on the features of the caricature that Samir Kacimi instilled in his fictional characters in the novel " The Stairs of Trolar ". We have tried to reveal the intersections of the art of caricature with the novelistic achievement, and the linguistic components that the narrator has adopted to realize irony.

The caricature of the narrative scene in The Staircase of the Trolar has been reached by adopting the satirical description, the miraculous act, as well as the paradoxes, which are elements attracted by linguistic and pragmatic dimensions, where the research strived to investigate and reveal the features of experimentation in Algerian narrative in the third millennium.
