Du Fantasme de l’androgynie à la révolte antigonienne dans L’amant imaginaire de Taos Amrouche

Résumé

In this article, we will try to explain how the myth of the Androgynous appears in Taos Amrouche's novel “L’amant imaginaire” and what she seeks to live and show through this fantasy. We are looking for the reasons that systematically lead the characters of Amrouche to exceed the measure by a writing of excess, without taboos or borders. Finally, we will see the way in which the various allusions to feminism and feminine desire(s) are constructed together in the author’s writings without excluding her need of men.
