Résumé

The problem of history and novel is seemingly an endless and constant process. Due to its flexible and adaptable characteristics, the problem still gains a remarkable attention among literary scholars. The fact that change and creativity are fundamentally related, in which the literary discourse evolves and goes places never been existed before. Despite being described as a consistent field due to its dependence on facts and numbers, still its credibility comes from documenting. That gives historical material a prestigious position and almost an indubitable one.

This paper is dedicated to study and analyze the endless relation between literature and history. More precisely how did Samir Qassimi tackle history, and how are the major historical events represented in his novels.
