Résumé

-This study deals with the verb “to be” in Grammarian’s schools, which try to enforce all Arabic texts in their grammatical frames of the Governance Theory. It compares the traditional conclusions with their counterparts in the Modern Linguistic Studies, so we can have a panoramic Idea about its function and use.
